Estate Grown Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc/Pinot Noir/Syrah Bright, fresh and juicy, this wine is lifted in all the right ways! This wine shows red and black fruits, herbs and spice, all leaping from the glass. The palate is light and ethereal, with freshness from acid, a touch of grip from tannins, and a delightfully low impression of alcohol. After hand harvesting, this wine was carefully sorted by hand to obtain pristine fruit, which was partially destemmed (by variety), and fermented in individual lots before basket pressing in aging in our antique puncheons. The wine spent 18 months in barrel, followed another 12 resting in tank before being bottled unfined and unfiltered, and rested for a further year in bottle.
